Chapter 15 – Working in the Coal Mines (Essen, Germany)
Eddie is back in Essen now, but is soon taken by the Germans to work in the coal mines. He is given a light, a bottle of water and sent down into the mines to dig for coal. He ends up working the in mines for about a month.
